Scoring & Grading

80–89Gut (Good)
70–79Befriedigend (Satisfactory)
60–69Ausreichend (Pass)
Below 60Nicht bestanden (Fail)

How scoring works: A1 & A2 are taken as a single exam (pass at 60% overall). German Studio offers expert trainers, small interactive batches, and exam-oriented preparation for all levels from A1 to C1. With flexible timings, regular mock tests, and direct integration with study-abroad and visa support, it’s a complete solution for anyone learning German in Ahmedabad.

Each CEFR level typically takes around 2 to 3 months of regular study, depending on the level and your pace. Beginner levels (A1, A2) are usually faster, while higher levels (B1, B2) require more time to master grammar and fluency.

For English-taught programs, German is not mandatory, but B1 is often recommended for daily life and part-time work. For German-taught Bachelor’s or Master’s programs, you typically need B2 or higher. A B1 level is also commonly required for many work visas and PR pathways.

Both Goethe-Institut and telc are internationally recognised German exam bodies that test the same CEFR levels (A1–C2) across four skills. Goethe is the most globally recognised, while telc is widely accepted across Europe. German Studio prepares you for both formats.

Yes. German Studio offers both in-centre and online German coaching in Ahmedabad, with morning, evening, and weekend batches so you can learn in the format and timing that suits your schedule.

For Goethe-Institut exams, you need an overall score of 60% to pass for example, 36 out of 60 points at A1/A2 level. The four modules (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking) each carry equal weight of 25%.

Yes. German Studio provides structured study material for each level and conducts regular mock tests under real exam conditions, followed by personalised feedback so you’re fully prepared before your actual Goethe or telc exam.
